Information To Employ The Reverse Cell Phone Number Trace

By Marc Marseille

1. Check fees incurred for using the reverse phone number

If you still insist on using the service despite the fee, make sure you keep track of how much you use it because that will be reflected in your bill. You can give your phone company a call. Or just check the company's website for a list of extra fees that may be charged. Some landline phones may charge you for using the extra service. Some even charge you a certain amount each time you use it. Just check before you use it.

2. Use the correct code

You do not want o call an emergency phone number by accident and possibly cause problems in the emergency office. So be careful. There are security codes that connect you automatically to the fire or police department. If you push in the wrong code, you may very well end up calling on those places. If you push in the correct code, it will work properly. That code, if you didn't already know is the asterisk, then six, and then seven. You should not confuse this code with asterisk, then six, then nine - which is used to to block phone numbers and make them private to the receiver.

3. It's not always successful

The majority of phone numbers that appear private are done so through the aforementioned code or through temporary phone settings. The reverse technique will work for those phone numbers. However, you cannot use the code on certain phone numbers. These are the ones that are permanently blocked due to legal request or some other method. These numbers will appear as Private or Unavailable on all calls no matter what.

4. Don't get too comfortable

Use the code as much as you can without causing damage. You may end up forgetting important phone numbers you may need to recall at a later time. Using the code does save time. But, in some cases it may not be worth it.
