New From Apple iPad Tablet

By Merlina Linx

Apple just announced that their long awaited iPad Tablet will be available to the public on April 3rd, with "pre-order" starting in one week. Will the iPad Tablet command the kind of lines and packing out for a couple of days on line, that the iPhone did?

The Pros. The iPad can support a wider variety of file formats: cbr, pdf, doc, docx, ppt. You have a paper you need to read before Monday? No problem. Need to read the new manga or comic book that came out? No problem.

You get the good old classic split screen view with the iPad tablet when viewing your emails in your inbox. And if you want to zoom in on that particular message to see what Aunt Maud is talking about you just rotate your beautiful iPad and voila - there's your email message filling the screen. So simple! Even a child could (and will) do it..

The advantage of using the.epub format is that there is support for "interactive books". One can rotate images, watch videos and even communicate with other user, all while reading a book. If you are visually impaired, the iPad iBooks app can read books out loud for you.

Sure you may have to subscribe to a couple of magazines and take a few surveys, but in the end you'll get your free iPad. This is where Apple is genius. Instead of spending millions on TV ads, they are approaching this launch in other ways.

Instead they are employing the strengths and reach of the internet and combined with their own reputation and are getting the "buzz out on the iPad Tablet.

Should you buy a traditional e--ink eReader (kindle, Sony Reader) or wait for an iPad? If you are just looking to read books and do not need any fancy features then I would recommend you buy a traditional eReader. However if you want to read books and experience the power of mobile computing, then I would recommend the iPad.

So yes, I said it - using the iPad tablet for email actually makes emailing fun because it's so easy to do and you have fun doing it. And one day all people will use an iPad to do their email and emailing activities, mark my words.
