Mobile phone radiation is now an increasing interest among people and experts all around the world. Through the recent years, there were more than at least four billion registered users throughout the world. This type of phenomenon cannot be ignored. At least half of today's population is contributing to the big cell phone soup.
These phones use electromagnetic radiation that is near the range of radio waves and microwave, the latter which is more popular as a cooking mechanism for the microwave oven. It is this aspect of radiation that most people are concerned about, since it is almost like putting a cell phone near your head would be just the same as cooking your brain inside the microwave oven. But as of now, there is no direct and solid evidence that mobile phones are indeed emitting powerful and harmful radiation.
Even the World Health Organization has given a say on the matter regarding cell phone and mobile phone radiation. An announcement has been issued that it is rather unlikely for cellular phones or any of the large cell phone towers (called base stations) to cause cancers and tumors inside the brain or on any surface of the body that is usually exposed to the cell phone's signals.
The European Commission Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks had also given out their side regarding the issue of mobile phone radiation and exposure to it in an urban setting. In their studies, it is said that exposure to mobile phone radiation was not the cause of nausea, dizziness, and headaches. Brain tumors, effects on the mind and reproductive system failure was also ruled out.
There is also unproven data that cancer in the auditory nerve can be caused by cell phone radiation as well. Most people also stick to the theory that cell phone radiation can also affect the child in the womb, if the mother is very consistent with her use of the cell phone. But both have been dispelled and are proven false.
